The Chronicles follow my adventures as Jefita, Maker of Things varied and wonderful.  I make stuffed animals, draw, travel, cook, and get into all sorts of other do-it-yourself trouble.  It is geeky and silly, but hopefully also entertaining and occasionally useful.

About the Author:

Hi, my name is Amy, but I am often known as Jefita (he-fee-tuh), the Maker of Things varied and wonderful.  I am a small town Oklahoma girl transplanted to the D.C./Baltimore area. I spend my time being an artist/illustrator person and sewing tons of tiny creatures.  With an aversion to spending money and 3/4 of an engineering degree,  I take great pleasure in figuring out how to make things on my own.

Besides my creative endeavors, I enjoy cheesy sci-fi, cartoons and comics, tromping around outdoors, and going places. I also avidly pursue the making and eating of tasty foods, and I have the magpie-like enjoyment of collecting shiny and/or colorful small objects.
